  • Password - Stored securely using industry-standard hashing (managed by Supabase Auth)
  • Profile information - Bio and avatar image you choose to provide

  • Text prompts and inputs used for song generation
  • Genre selections and song preferences
  • AI-generated songs (audio files, lyrics, cover images)
  • Public/private visibility settings for your songs

2.3 Usage Data

  • Activity logs (login, logout, song generation events)
  • Token balance and transaction history
  • Social interactions (follows, likes)
  • Support inquiries submitted through the help system

2.4 Payment Information

Payment processing is handled by our payment partners: Polar (web), Google Play (Android app), or the App Store (iOS app). We do not store your credit card numbers or payment details. We only receive confirmation of successful transactions and the associated token amounts.

3. How We Use Your Information

  • Provide the Service - Generate songs, manage your account, and process tokens
  • Community features - Display your public profile, songs, and social interactions
  • Notifications - Inform you about follows, likes, and token updates
  • Support - Respond to your help requests and inquiries
  • Service improvement - Understand usage patterns to improve the platform
  • Security - Detect and prevent abuse, fraud, or unauthorized access

4. Data Storage and Security

Your data is stored securely using Supabase, which provides enterprise-grade security including:

  • Encrypted data at rest and in transit
  • Row Level Security (RLS) ensuring users can only access their own data
  • Secure authentication with hashed passwords

Audio files and images are stored in secure cloud storage with access controls.

4.1 Data Retention

We retain your personal data only for as long as your account is active. When you delete your account, all associated data — including your profile, songs, likes, follows, and notifications — is permanently and immediately deleted from our systems. We do not maintain backups of deleted user data.

5. Data Sharing

We do not sell your personal information. We may share data with:

  • AI service providers - Your text prompts are sent to AI models (Google Gemini, Suno) to generate songs and lyrics. These providers process the data according to their own privacy policies.
  • Payment processor - Polar (web), Google Play (Android), or the App Store (iOS) processes your payment transactions.
  • Infrastructure providers - Supabase and Vercel host our service and data.

We may also disclose information if required by law or to protect the safety of our users.

6. Your Rights

You have the right to:

  • Access - View your personal data through your profile and settings
  • Update - Edit your profile information at any time
  • Delete - Request deletion of your account and associated data by contacting us through the Help page
  • Control visibility - Set your songs to private to limit public access

7. Cookies and Local Storage

We use essential cookies and browser local storage for:

  • Authentication session management
  • Remembering your preferences

We do not use third-party tracking cookies for advertising purposes.

8. Children's Privacy

VOCU AI is not intended for children under 14 years of age. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 14. If you believe a child under 14 has provided us with personal information, please contact us so we can take appropriate action.
